This high quality cut glass is world renowned after being featured in a painting in the year 1905 made by Charles Maire, a famous artist of the Belle Epoque. It is a replica of the original Pontarlier glass, and has a reservoir in the stem to measure the correct amount of Absinthe. A very beautiful accessory. Handmade and mouthblow.

Absintheur:Andrew Whitaker 30.01.2008 Evaluation:
excellent glass, not too thin or fragile, but not too thick and heavy. Beautiful, slightly gaudy(in a good way) styling. the reservoir in the bottom is exactly 1.5 oz a perfect shot, and the rest, depending on how you like your 'sinthe, is a good measure of water. also, the rim fits this site's spoons perfectly. great addition to my glassware.

Simple and convincing - as is the Absinthe that you will drink with it!
